15A, integrated 3mΩ power MOS multiple protection device with current monitoring function
IS6102A is an integrated 3mΩ power MOSFET multiple protection device, with a maximum 15A DC current monitoring function. The package with 3 mm x 5 mm 22 PIN QFN supports limiting current and voltage to safe levels in case of circuit faults.
The IS6102A is equipped with a current monitoring function (IMON) to monitor and feedback the current value by using an external resistance from the IMON to ground to generate a voltage proportional to the device current. During startup, the slope of the output is set by connecting an external capacitor on the soft-start (SS) pin to limit the surge current and protect the system components. At the same time, the device has a programmable current limiting function, which adjusts the current limiting value through an external resistor connected from the ISET pin to the ground to meet the needs in different scenarios.
The internal charge pump drives the gate of the integrated MOSFET, so that it has a very low on-resistance of only 3mΩ when activated, which improves the performance and efficiency of the device. In addition, the IS6102A integrates a full range of fault detection and protection features, including overvoltage protection (OVP), overtemperature protection (OTP), reverse current detection, etc., to fully protect the system from abnormal operating conditions, ensuring reliable operation and long life.
