The IS6821A is an intelligent power stage that integrates high-side and low-side power MOSFETs and a gate driver. It can achieve a continuous output current of 90A over a wide input voltage range. It is packaged in a 4mm x 6mm LGA and is an ideal choice for multi-phase applications that prioritize high efficiency and small size.

Thanks to the optimized MOSFET involved, the IS6821A features high current carrying capacity, excellent thermal performance and high efficiency. It can receive the three-state pulse width modulation (PWM) signal from the controller. The I_MON pin can provide a high-precision current detection signal with a gain of 5uA/A. The temperature monitoring function can display the internal temperature of the power stage (T_MON). In case of a catastrophic failure, the T_MON signal will quickly rise to 3.3V. 

The IS6821A supports high-precision current monitoring and temperature reporting functions, and is equipped with comprehensive protection features, including positive and negative current limiting, over-temperature protection, fault alarm functions.
