The IS6205A is a dual-output 8-phase buck controller specifically designed for CPU voltage regulation, compatible with PMBus/AVSBus/SVID protocols. This controller adopts the proprietary Turbo Constant On-Time (TCOTTM) control algorithm, enabling rapid transient response. 

The IS6205A is equipped with proprietary efficiency adjustment technology to ensure outstanding efficiency across the entire load range. The dynamic phase control function can automatically or by command add or remove phases based on the load current. The IS6205A can be configured to operate with one or two outputs and supports 127 address values of the PMBus interface. Device configuration can be easily defined through the Innovision GUI and stored in the on-chip multiple-time programmable (MTP) memory to reduce external components and minimize package size. 

The IS6205A offers extensive fault protection including OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP and CAT_FLT, and provides temperature sensing based on a thermistor during operation of the power stage or reports the maximum temperature when the Power Stage is in use.
