IS6806C is a smart power stage with built-in power MOSFETs and gate drivers to achieve higher efficiency at lower output voltages. It is an integrated power stage solution optimized for multiphase applications with low duty cycle and full fault detection and protection. The product supports accurate current sampling, temperature sampling and fault alarm functions, which can provide high current performance, good thermal performance, and high efficiency optimization of MOSFET design. Using a 5 mm x 6 mm QFN package, the IS6806A is capable of up to 70A in a single phase, and the optimized internal power MOSFET minimizes switching and conduction losses.

The IS6806C uses a driver IC with internal MOSFET gate with high-current drive function, adaptive deadtime control and integrated bootstrap switch. Temperature monitor to alert the system when the temperature is too high, current monitor to provide real-time current monitoring function (Imon) (output inductor current is scaled down), compatible with 3.3V PWM controller, diode emulation mode can be enabled under light load by using GLCTRL signal. The IS6806C is equipped with a full set of protection features, including positive and negative current limiting, fault alarm functions, such as HS FET overcurrent, overtemperature and HS MOSFET short-circuit failure.
